Hi, I’m Ariadne!

I'm an occupational therapist with 5 years of experience in pediatrics. I’ve had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations in different countries, including the USA, Germany, and Ireland, the latter from where I obtained my MSc in Occupational Therapy. My personal and professional experiences have taught me the importance of adaptability, resourcefulness, and holistic thinking—traits that I strive to include in my daily OT practice with children and families.

As an evidence-based practitioner, I strongly believe that a good foundation for success is based on building strong connections through a family-centered approach. My role is to facilitate and help the child and family find the tools they need to thrive.

My areas of expertise include assessments, consultations, emotional regulation and cognitive processing (including attention and sensory processing), visual perceptual and fine motor skills, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), developmental delays, environmental modifications, activities of daily living (ADLs), and more.

I am American currently based in Florence, Italy, and I speak English, Spanish, and Italian.
