Cristina
Occupational Therapist
Hi, I'm Cristina and I'm a pediatric occupational therapist with over 6 years of experience. I studied occupational therapy at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid and Arcada University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki.Â
I started working in Madrid with children with Cerebral Palsy and related pathologies, as well as children with ADHD and ASD. Later, I was lucky enough to work in Helsinki at the University Hospital in the neurology area. During this time I also worked in schools with children with learning difficulties. Once I finished my stay in the nordic countries, I decided to move to England to gain experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist. In Spain, I have worked in clinics and schools assisting children with learning and neurodevelopmental difficulties.Â
I specialize in: Evaluation, Treatment Plans and Counseling in collaboration with families and teachers, Learning Difficulties, Handwriting, Sensory Integration, Eating Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Difficulties, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Music Therapy, Emotional Regulation and Therapeutic Skills, and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).Â
I'm from Spain and I speak English and Spanish.
