Hi, I’m Maria! I am a Speech Language Pathologist from Florida, and I love working with children and watching their communication skills develop. 

I received my Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies with a focus in Biological and Health Sciences and Minor in Psychology in 2006 from the University of Central Florida. In 2011, I completed my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, also from the University of Central Florida. I have been a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and completed my Certificate of Clinical Competence in 2012. 

I enjoy working with the pediatric population and have spent the last ten years working in my local public school system as an Elementary Speech/Language Pathologist. I also maintain a caseload as a private practice evaluator working with remote and in person clients since 2011. 

My therapy has focused on providing support to children with a variety of diagnoses such as: expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, social-pragmatic deficits, autism spectrum disorder, children with cochlear implants, and children with Down Syndrome. I believe communication is key to helping children grow and prosper to the best of their ability in all environments. 

I am Italian-American and speak both English and Italian.
