Speech & Movement Therapist
Hi, I'm Sarah! I’m a speech and language pathologist, dance/movement therapist (BTD), and dance artist/choreographer, from Malta. I studied Communication Therapy at the University of Malta and hold a diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Conservatoire of Dance, in London. My final thesis examined the effects of dance/movement therapy on children with autism. I have experience leading group and private sessions in clinics and in special schools with children on the autism spectrum and with other special needs. I have also worked as a speech language pathologist in private practices, kindergartens, and schools. And I have taught workshops and given presentations about my work as a dancer and as a dance therapist, in Berlin and Malta.Â
My areas of expertise include: articulation and phonological disorders, autism, aphasia, and learning disabilities.Â
