CHILD SAFEGUARDING POLICY STATEMENT

Linden has a moral and legal obligation to ensure that all young people who work with us are provided with the highest possible standards of support and protection. The welfare of children and young people is integral to our operations. We have a duty of care to all children, and in particular those under-18.

We are committed to ensuring that:

All children are safeguarded from harm while in our care

Linden will give equal priority to keeping all children and young people safe regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation". The needs of disabled and other particularly vulnerable children and young people are of high importance to our organization

Appropriate policies and procedures are devised and implemented for the protection and safeguarding of our young clients, and are adhered to by all adults within the organization at all times

A dedicated Safeguarding Officer has been designated to support students and staff as needed on all questions and concerns around child safety

All staff are provided with training twice a year and have access to procedural documents whenever necessary
-
All adults working for Linden receive an appropriate induction on safeguarding, must have up to date police records/ background checks on file with Linden as well as clean records of work history specifically regarding child protection.

All suspicions and allegations of abuse and poor practice are taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately in accordance with German law.
