Berlin Bears is a fun and interactive program designed for children aged 6-8 to playfully explore the German language, discover Berlin’s history through art, amazing parks, and loads of exciting activities. Each day is filled with hands-on learning, creative challenges, and thrilling adventures, helping kids develop a love for language, art, and culture. 🔍 Daily Themes & Activities: Day 1: Willkommen in Berlin! Learn basic German vocabulary while exploring famous landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall. We’ll also visit parks and cool water fountains for some splashy fun! 🌳💦 Day 2: Berlin's History & the Berlin Wall Discover Berlin’s rich past with stories about the Berlin Wall. We’ll make awesome time capsules with drawings and new German words. ⛓️📦 Day 3: Berlin, du bist so Wunderbar! Berlin has so much to offer! We might visit a dinosaur museum, a vintage car collection, the Chocolate Factory, an art museum, or even a magical place where everything is in miniature! 🦖🚗✨ Day 4: Berlin Scavenger Hunt Put your German skills to the test with a fun scavenger hunt around our neighborhood. 🕵️♂️🔍 Day 5: Ja! Ich bin ein Berlin Bär! Wrap up the week with a show-and-tell session where everyone shares their favorite moments from the adventure! 🎤🎉 👩🔬 Who Should Join? Perfect for curious kids with little or no German, aged 6-8, who are excited to learn German and explore Berlin in a fun, hands-on way. Let’s explore Berlin and learn German together, one exciting day at a time! 🎉 Please note: Activities and themes may change based on the group's interests and preferences, ensuring an engaging experience for all participants. ******************************* WHAT PARENTS SAY… Our daughter attended the German Theater Camp during the past week. The facilitator Alethea is absolutely awesome! There were many fun activities. My daughter was very eager to join the group every day, so she didn't need me to wake her up in the morning, always ready by herself to take the 40+ minutes U-Bahn ride for the camp class. What's even better, is that I noticed she starts to use German (although only occasionally) very naturally. I'm really glad I registered her for Linden summer camp. Cancellation Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, making it challenging for children to continue with the program. If you need to cancel your enrollment before classes begin, please let us know right away. Cancellation requests received less than three weeks before the activity/program start date are eligible for a 50% refund.Cancellations made five working days prior to the start of the activity/program are eligible for a 30% refund. No refund can be granted after the first day of the program, and missed days will not be refunded. If a refund is issued, a 7% processing fee will be retained. Minimum Participation: Each Linden camp requires a minimum of 3 participants to proceed. If the required number of registrations is not met, we will notify you three weeks before the start of the camp. In the unlikely event of a cancellation due to low enrollment, you will have the option to either request a full refund or keep your booking and wait for the camp to fill up.
